Relief for Haiti

As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ.
 
 
Dear TCOTS Members:
 
We have all watched over the last few days the utter destruction and distress caused by the earthquake to the people of Haiti. We can only imagine here in America the devastation and enormous grief and pain those precious souls must be feeling at this time.  The good news is that we have an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus from afar.
 
We have access to a missionary who is actually on the ground in Haiti. After speaking with our board, we have decided as a congregation to send funds directly to Brian Heergan and Delta Ministries. He is a missionary and friend of Wayne Sneed & Orphanos ( the mission organization we support monthly). We feel as if getting the money directly to them will be of better use than some of the other international relief organizations. We will bypass beurocratic red tape and administrative fees altogether. All funds will go directly to that missionary to support the needs there in Haiti.
 
We need your help. On this coming Sunday, we will receive a special offering just for this event. Whatever is raised in the offering will be matched from our general fund to send to Brian and his team.
 
Again, we trust that everyone will take this opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, from afar.......
